any player or codec for playing divx on a storm??

Officially, no. BUT I have been able to playback a few, I believe it all depends on how it is coded. You can check out this link from Blackberryfaq.com.

from what it looks like you can play divx as long as it meets the required resolution....that's cool(other than the fact that i have no divx coded in that resolution..lol) maybe i should just try it out and see what happens...

Well, I would recommend that you don't. Only because divx files are very large. 3gp is the best because they are smaller in size. Yes you lose some quality in picture but I would rather have more space.

i have a 16gb micro in my storm....so i have the space..700mb isn't that huge...
