Thread: Bing & V Cast Video now being pushed

Just did some maintence and recieved a couple new icons on my home screen. Verizons music store app and Bing Mobile. I personaly dont use the music app so I dont realy care about this part (another icon to hide) but I might just have to try the bing app. see how well it competes with google. doubt it will trump the awesome google but we will see.

nope. not impressed. portrait view only. which means suretype only. movie listings are way incomplete and you have to link to msn moble site to get more. dont realy care for the interface. but this is all my personal opinion. feel free to check it out and decide for yourself. I am just generaly not impressed.

Not a fan of pushed junk to my phone. VZW should ask us if we want it.

these icons were pushed to my phone as well although the bing is a great app the v cast videos i could do with out, did a little looking in to and found this addy to DL the bing app, i did not try it but found it on more then one site. http:/m.bing.com

Why is it that I get push the apps and some people don't. A friend is waiting for the bing app and it has not shown up on his phone, is it that he is on a BES server.

I"m on BIS and I haven't had any of those apps pushed to my phone...

Ok found a web address for it. http://static.appserver.m.bing.net/b.../9530/Bing.jad.

that is only for the 9530 but if you change the numbers it might work for the 8330 no not know for sure if it would work for the 8330
