Thread: Verizon once again is late by 15 hours!

Did you sign up with Verizon to be alerted when new BlackBerry devices are released? I did back in June when the Tour was getting ready to release. When the Tour released Verizon finally sent out an e-mail informing us that the Tour was available. Only, they were 12 hours late.
So lets fast forward to the Storm 2. It was available for sale on Verizon website roughly around midnight EST and just now I get the e-mail notifying me that the Storm 2 is available. This time they are 15 hours late. Ah, how I love Verizon.

I still haven't got an email!

A reliable source indicates the team processing automated internet order fallouts arrives at 7AM. The delay could potentially be intentional to avoid an absurd amount of backlog of orders.

Think about it... all the BB folks typing away on forums late at night get that little "ding" on their device, and flock to VZW.com.

Just a possibility of the cause.

From what I have heard it ras a glitch in the system. It is also why phone sales didn't know it was available til 8am and didn't have pricing available until 11am.
