My Verizon now pushed to your BB

I have never been one to complain about Verizon's pushed content, but I feel this one could be a bit to far. They are now pushing the My Verizon app to our phones. This at the same time is one very very handy app for the person that does all of the Verizon activity online, but to me it is too much. If you would like to get it and you are on VZW reboot your phone and there it is for download.

Yeah its been on my storm for about two months now, but it did come in handy when I needed to pay my bill and I wasnt near a computer. Its not the worst program that they pushed on us, like the useless vcast song ID and VZW Tones, those two programs suck major donkey butt.

Actually... the VCast Song ID is quite useful (at least for me).

But as for the VZW Tones... :crazy:

this looks amazing... starting to wonder if rogers will release an app like this. it would just be nice to not have to deal with calling in to change calling features and things like that.

does this app stay up to date with current promotions? if it does i dont see how this app could be at all bad and hey i guess if you dont like it you can always hide it.

you could always use #768 for VZW to get to the payment options via automated system

I'm on 5.0 also. I was surprised when the app showed up this evening. I had just deleted it the other day lol. I was trying to figure out how it popped back up. Then I realized it was pushed.

+1 on that. Those are the 2 most useless apps for them to push.
