I def. am a fan of this software, the only thing I don't like is when starting/opening the program it doesn't ask for a password or anything so if u have the phone laying around and doesn't have a password on it, anyone can take a look into your account. I have been using this for a while, like months now. Also, I loved VZWSongID, used it too many times. It's the one software I can remember using since 2002, back when I had a reg clam phone...wow, seems like such a long time ago..lol

The red man is now on my phone after a battery pull :17:![]()
u can always download it from ur browser, just open up browser, click on the BlackBerry Home page and it'll take u to the verizon page, from there go to Get Apps and it's the first app.

If they were pushing the actual app, I could see being upset. However; since all these are is web shortcuts to the download, to me it is no big deal. Most likely done because the "average" consumer would probably never know these things existed were it not for being pushed via service book.
IMHO, there should be an option on Verizon's site to allow/disallow download links being pushed via service book; so those of us that don't want them don't have to take the steps to hide them.
Dave I already have like 10+ that I need to hide(all IM apps, fb, flickr, vz song ID, vzw tones, and now the red man :17

Out of all the pushed content they have "pushed " to Blackberrys I've only only gotten two vzsong id and vztones deluxe. Is there something wrong with my device?
hey gang - any way to block certain pushed content? I know I can hide it but i would rather not be getting big red stuff if I don't want it.
