    Christmas Comes Early! 9550 Simulator in VZW's systems!


    We have no idea if this information is coming from a jolly old man in a big red suit, but we'll take what we can get! New images show the Storm 2 (9550) emulator has been loaded into Verizon's systems. These emulators are used by Verizon support staff to assist with both employee training and customer service. It would appear the HIGHLY anticipated launch is coming very soon!

    So is there any knowlege from the smart guys on this scenario as to time lines? ie-emulator comes out, then xx number of days later it hits stores?

    In semi-related news, the main character on the new show "Flash Forward" has a Storm 2. You've really gotta be paying attention to see it. He's rocking some wi-fi too! Too bad I have to wait till January to upgrade.

    From what Olta777 told me once it hits mass production it's approximately 4 weeks from that point. We aren't in mass production yet. Either way I need to scrape up some extra cash. I have no upgrade

    Anyone want to buy a kid? LMAO ... she's driving now so she can help with all kinds of chores!!!

    How are the people that got the Storm on its launch date last year already getting the Storm2? I know I am not eligible till next year, is there a way around this that you can share with me so I do not need to pay full retail.......

    My thoughts as well. I didn't use my pre invite card they sent me back in 2008, but I did upgrade in December of last year with the Storm 9530. I'm not eligible till December 2010. Must be one year contracts, or month by month folks out here. :Eyecrazy:

    There are several options to get your hands on a Storm 2. First of course is full retail price. You also have the option of adding a line at the contract price. Third, you can always upgrade a second line if eligible.
