Well that did not take long for someone to call the ball on getting Verizon on board with this device.
Tell me what you know about it Leo when you get a chance.
With BGR saying that there is no deal and now it's a deal, I'm curious.
My big concern has got to be with the OS development of this device. My understanding of it is that Palm is not on board with simply handing out developmental products for builders to produce new apps for this device. That in itself would be a roadblock for me.
I for one have been waiting for WebOS to hit Verizon, so I will either be getting the Pre or another Palm devise (not the Pixi) next year. Blackberry OS has me bored.....Quote:

I for one am not a fan of the pre. To many flaws, not a very well built device in my opinion. I for one think VZW is going to be making a mistake if the do pick up this device.
someone from verizon told me that the Palm Pre was tested and it a piece of s**t so I guess we have to wait to see what is really going to happen
I might get one and to just try out for the 30 days and then go back to Blackberry.

I had the Pre on launch day. 47 days later I was on Pre #5. The software is very intuitive...the hardware is absolute garbage. Slider issues (called the Oreo effect), Screen issues (white "cloud" at the bottom), terrible battery life, keyboard issues (cramped, in-op at times)...I could go on. I was so irritated with the Pre (hence the name TemperamentalMan) we left Sprint and came to Verizon. This was after I was told I would have to pay the deductible on an insurance claim to replace my final Pre. Ummmm, no. Defective phone. I payed $200.00 for a defective phone. Now I have to pay $100 insurance claim to get a refurb that isn't going to work right either!?!? Hello Big Red.Quote:
