Thread: Anyone on Verizon showing 1xev data outage?

Still sitting at 1x here, guess it might be time to waste some airtime reporting what they should already know

I can only imagine how many messages I will get once it goes back to 1XEV

OK i retract my previous statements I too am with out data now, this could have something to do with either the alltel merger or rim. Thats all I know sorry

I'm not sure about messages but emails missed during the outage haven't shown up for me. I have sent myself a few from my pc and they came through fine but not the 10 or so missed ones. So you might not get overwhelmed unless they show up considerably later.

Try turning your radio off manually and then turning it back on. See if that will help you out!

No body gets alerts from Data Outages? There is/was and issue with Verizon on the east coast.

I didn't see a ticket number but a lot of people emailed saying they were experience an issue.

Hmm usually I get a tweet about it but maybe they didn't bother? It was only the east coast after all

I guess so California was fine all day.

Started at 4:40pm in Atlanta today, was off and on for a couple of hours, seems to be ok now.

i work for a phone company and we resell verizon wireless, well i JUST got the following email, glad we are on top of things at::

Today is Thursday, August. At this time, we have experienced a 1X and EVDO Data service disruption report for the eastern market, in the MidAtlantic, Southeast, South Central, and Northeast regions of the U.S. that may affect service. Currently Verizon Wireless’ switch technicians are working to resolve this issue. The issue was first reported Thursday, August 13th at 3:54 pm EST.

You should sign up for the dataoutages.com mailing list. Usually know if something is wrong even before there's a ticket number.
