Live verizon developer conference

If you are interested to see what is to come of the new verizon app store they will be having a live broadcast tomorrow (tuesday).

A notable speaker at this conference would have to be non other than Jim Balsillie, co-chief executive officer, Research In Motion who will be speaking about Creating Developer Value thru Collaborative Partnership as well as participating in Paartn Q's and A's

i grabbed some pics from jims presentation

im really excited considering rim and verizon are both opening up their apis and sdks for all the developers for verizon so support on all ends should make some nice apps....

verizon came out and said they have a guarantee of at most 14 days for approving an app and are offering 70% profits

i went on the site and it says The video on demand version (live session + breakout sessions) will be available Wednesday at 9 AM PDT. for those of you who wanted to see it...it really was a very interesting and informative conference!

yup, lots of new technology becoming availible for developers! and the contest verizon is hosting in honor of the store that i posted about in the software forums should really spur up some new great apps considering its only open to blackberry apps!
