Thread: Verizon & Sprint agree to include WiFi in all future devices

According to an article on wired.com, Sprint at Verizon have agreed to include wifi on all major future phones. Sadly this announcement comes just shy of including the Tour. Though any new versions released would hopefully be included in the "major" category for the carriers.

Thanks for the post but pathetic they are doing this now. I don't care how fast or good VZW thinks their network is I was playing with my wife's iPhone and over wifi she was getting 4.5mb down. Even if the moon and stars are gravitational pull are all aligned I can't even break 1mb over 3G. Plus for international travelers wifi is a must. Good to hear that sprint and vzw decided to enter the 21st century.
