Thread: Bold 9930 & Torch 9850 OS 7.1 Updates Coming To Verizon On Jan 10th

Looks like on Jan 10th Big Red is set to start releasing OS 7.1 updates for the Bold 9930 and Torch 9850 BlackBerry devices. If you don't want to wait for the release, you can download the Sprint version of 7.1 in our site Downloads Center. Nice to see Verizon making an effort to update, but somehow I'm left wondering if it's just to milk $20/month off subscribers for the new mobile hotspot feature.

What I meant was the official os last time I used the leaked os (7.1.0.190) but got problem with YM notification. So changed back to .598

Verizon will not release the official OS7.1 till Jan 10, which means today, so just hang in there

It seems some customers of Verizon, has been getting the Official Verizon update via their BlackBerry devices (BlackBerry Bold 9930 & Torch 9850) in the form of OS 7.1.0.163, assuming your device is on a stock OS.

If you have checked your device for software updates, and your able to update, by all means, perform the update.

If you haven't received the official update just as of yet, don't worry, it's on the way.

i have a blackberry bold4 ..9930 of verizon..y do i dont have a call waiting system in it.. does it can b downloaded ..
