    another broken storm

    I have a question for you if you are still watching this thread. I am on my fourth or fifth storm 1, this one has been doing good for the last few months, but alas now its dead. Problem is the last time I had it replaced I was promised if the next one died I could get something else. Now that it has, vzw reps are telling me they did away with that option. But seeing as how it was promised to me when it the FRU was still in effect, shouldnt I still be eligible for that? Since the storm is our first blackberry experience it has left me no desire to ever own another berry. I know there are other berries that are good, but as the old saying goes "F*** me once shame on u, F*** me twice shame on me".
    Plus the rep said he was transferring me and hung up on me and never even processed the replacement storm 1, let alone let me talk to someone else regarding the FRU. Now that is the kind of treatment that makes me write the State Attorney General's office. I cant believe i was treated that way, when i didnt even lose my temper or swear at the little punk.

    Any ideas on how to proceed with this problem?

    Yeah... Dial 611 again! Verizon has a lot of nice CS reps, but just like other companies that get huge... They hired a lot of asses lately! If you don't get the answer and help you were looking for... Hang up and try again! About 4 out of 5 CS reps have been decent to me. However, do not expect them to know as much as you about your device!

    You shoudl get what you were promised, problem is that if it wasnt noted(which the original person probably did NOT) They will not honor this.. The best and I mean the best you are going to get would be a new Storm1. Problem is VZW is completely out of Storm 1's that are new. So although this is bad you are probably screwed. And I really hate to say that but there were a lot of people screwing the system and that is why the change was made.

    Thats what I was figuring. I have to drive 45 miles to go to a store in person to get the phone replaced today, cause the phone csr said they couldnt have me a replacement until at least wednesday. Yay this should be fun. I bet they wouldnt act like such assholes if it were illegal to have early termination fees. I just hope LTE is worth sticking around for. :aargh4:

    I can only handle dealing with this so many times. After three phone calls last night i was in such a rage i couldnt go to sleep. And all three reps had the same sack of crap to hand me. All the other 12 times weve had problems the reps were really nice and knowledgable, but I havent had any issues that I couldnt fix myself for a couple months now, and I dont know what happened to the verizon I was dealing with, compared to the one i'm dealing with now. I really liked Verizon up until this point, but if I could talk the prick who hung up on me, in person I would feel alot better and he would feel alot worse.

    I want to say LTE will be worth it, but if they dont do it right it will be just as bad as AT&T so I guess we will see but god I hope they do this right lol

    LOL... Agreed! I fortunately have a few friends at stores around here that come to me when they have questions, so I don't catch that same grief! I will tell you that, they are turning people away from the stores and forcing them to deal with CS!!!

    As for personal confrontation... I love to see the look on a little weasles face when they have an opportunity to talk their way out of their own BS!!!:fing02::argue::AR15firing::dead::banana: :nutkick:

    Hey, Jason... Is there any way to relay to big red that the pushed content (such as the NFL bulls#!t) is not appreciated and customers such as myself would love to remove it permanently before they decide to go to another carrier due to the pushed content? An option to remove or accept would be nice, that way, the pushed content would be available to those who want it, but could be removed by those who don't, and would rather have a kidney removed without anesthetic than have stuff on their device that pi$$es them off.
    Just a thought for the big wigs @ big red who seem to be more interested in the almighty dollar than customer service, that's all.....
