he was pretty helpful overall, so i wasnt about to get pissed about it or anything, but i was wondering if he did this because he recieved a commission, or if he was just trying to be helpful.
i plan on canceling it anyways. everything i would need it for can be done for free with the google maps app.
I do not believe that they do. You can remove it with crackmem or crackutil.
Not true... removing the application will not remove the charge from the account. You can easily remove the application by going into options adv application!
You need to remove the feature from the account by calling into customer care or going to verizonwireless.com and logging into myverizon then services then add remove features.

The reason for the fee is to make the overall cost of the service to be the same as a wireless modem. For example a wireless modem costs 59.99 for 5GB if you have the 29.99 web+email then the tethering is $30 if you have the 44.99 then tethering is $15.00.
Also if you are using a stand alone line (not family share) then you can get the Voice and Email or Voice Email+Messaging Plans... They will give you the corporate bes version at a discounted rate anywhere from $30-40 instead of $44.99 then you will be able to get the tethering for $15 saving you $5-15
Also you may receive employee discounts off of voice and email plans you do not receive any discounts from wireless modem plans!

Agreed 100%... You can check the ECPD/ELEU/CLEU to see what discount an employer will receive on what services. nice call.

with the 30$ black berry plan do you get charged for the data you use or is that unlimited data?

that is unlimited use as long as you are not going over the 5gb hard cap...which is very very very hard to do unless you are using a program like tetherberry
