    Just figured it was worth asking considering the 8830 WE is pretty inexpensive (but still more money than I got :no. I mean, it is more of a precaution in case I were to lose my Storm and my back-up were to officially crap-out, not really one of those things I planned on doing, just would be nice to know I could... if need be.

    But, again, I appreciate the timely response and completely understand your analogy, because it pretty much is like stealing, without the illegality of it all. Granted, I just figured that it was worth asking because the Verizon store probably wouldn't even care considering the fact that we've been with them since the beginning with multiple accounts and spent enough money with them to be considered "VIP Customers," whatever that means.

    I have the same plan, 700mins, family share with 3 phones (storm is the main line *me* with the data plan) and have unlimited txt plus i have the employee discount on the main line and it comes to $130. But my bill has never come below or above $130-$140.

    So now i'm wondering if I'm paying too much or if i'm ok.

    thanks for not being mad....by the way...i'm not a saint either :laugh2:
    i would suggest that you take out the insurance on your storm. that way if it gets damaged you can get a replacement($50 deductible) in a day or so. also when you take out the insurance it doubles your warranty to two years, so if it messes up within the two years verizon will replace it.

    I've had my Storm about 60 days... is it still possible to take out the insurance plan?

    yep...last time i checked you can start it anytime as long as your device is working at the time...in other words you can't start it right after you run over your berry

    ok try to answer all questions here. I have been out a bit today, buttttt....

    the first one about being able to warrenty the 8830 on the plan not unless that phone is less than one year old will there be a way to do that, so if I understand your question it is not possible to do what you ask.

    The person who asked about the amount of their bill I need how many lines how manny bb's how many text plans, vcast vpaks stuff like that all the details and we will see what I can do, but from your base post there you are dead on the right price.

    Final thing you only have 30days with vzw or assurion to put the insurance on and you must call in from that phone, for proof that it works. if its 60 days old then insurance is too late..
