    Ok, the automated system allowed me to change the password and it chose the new password number for me after I gave the last 4 of my social. It picked a 5 digit number. Didn't have to speak to a rep.

    No, your right, no change, still have the female voice. I even recorded my Name hoping it would override her voice with no result, tried option 1, 2 and 3 but still have option 2 so for now she wins. I'm not investing anymore of my day to this. Thanks for your help and have a great weekend

    So I have a random question that I'm hoping (though not necessarily expecting) can be answered. I have a Storm, we bought that on my family Verizon account at an actual Verizon store, not a third party store/stand. I used to have a BlackBerry 8830 World Edition (also bought on my family Verizon account at a physical Verizon store, not just an authorized retailer, but a year or two ago). The 8830 is pretty crapped out; buttons don't work, it's falling apart. I would love to get this replaced for free the way you can when you go to Verizon with you phone and they can't figure out how to fix the problem. The question is this:

    If I say that I lost my Storm and had to go to my back-up, and when I loaded my back-up with all the information, it came up with *some error*, will they replace it for free if they cannot fix it like they do with your main phone? (I'm pretty sure this is a long shot, but would LOVE to get a brand-spanking-new 8830 WE as my back-up

    why don't you go in and pull the fire alarm,then when everyone leaves just stick one in your pocket. not trying to make you mad but that would be about the same to me. i wouldn't be able to sleep.:no:
