lol yea, i know that... i was hoping someone in VZW could calculate and see if that time period is over 30days... I say no, I'm sure today, november 30, is the last day of my 30day period...but in 2 hrs i'll know. lol

Actually today is 31 if you count the 31st as one day just depends on the rep probably

Wait so the rep would determine? Yea i'm hoping they don't count 31, since I bought it at 8pm on Oct 31... I guess when i go to VZW i'll know....
Now one other q'stion. Does it have to b exchanged at the same store i bought it or can i take it anywhere?

Edit: So i went to the store near where i work and apparently I can only exchange it at the same store I bought it from. So that sucks, now i have to wait till 6pm

I recently had some issues with my storm and went through 3 different tech support people before I finally got one who actually returned my voicemails and made sure I was all set. I'd like to send vzw a letter of commendation on behalf of this rep. What is the best way to go about this? Regular mail or email? Or is a phone call to someone a better idea? And who should I mail, email, or call to accomplish this?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

To be honest I haven't a clue. If you know how to reach that person I would call and ask to ask the supervisor for their email or mailing address

So i returned my 9550 and went w/ Droid Eris and sad to say, i feel more satisfied w/ this phone than w/ the 9530 or 9550. It wasn't the phone that made me change, it was the lack of apps and being limited on wat I can do.

I miss the BBM already, and the screen size too lol, but in all I'm happy.
Ooo also, i'm still gonna b on the forums 'cause for some reason I can't seem to leave BBOS lol, no other forum is like this family.

I received an 8330 from Cellular South and was wondering if it was possible to get it working on my Verizon family plan?

If it is a CDMA device which it is you can try just make sure its not an 8330m to check that go to options about and see if it says 8330 or 8330m

That I do not know for sure

I went into my local Verizon store yesterday because my 9550 has started to accumulate dust underneath the screen and was told multiple times how I needed a case for this unit.

Was this just a way to make me buy a case from them or are there actually cases out there that would have prevented this?

It would be your first assumption. The way most of the cases are made I would think it would make it much easier for dust to get in as they are built to go along the edge of you housing and leave a small space between them and the housing. But that is opinion. they may believe it will help but i think its the same chance either way

Few things to find out.. first do the bahamas have GSM or CDMA coverage... on the ship do they have any kind of cell coverage(there are some that have mini towers on board)? and the rate or country that the towers will be based on. Now if they have GSM in the Bahamas you can get your phone unlocked by click the link in my signature and purchase a prepaid SIM card for the local carriers. That is the cheapest way to do it and find out abuot the ship you may have to suck it up on the ship without coverage. Hope this helps if you have more questions let me know

But that is only if you use a service there that VZW is in agreement with.. If they have GSM coverage in the bahamas I highly suggest using the prepaid sim as its usually alot cheaper
