Thread: Verizon Wireless Releasing Apple iPad October 28th!

No really! This isn't a joke or a test. Verizon Wireless has posted the news today on their website that they will be carrying the Apple iPad this coming October 28th.

The iPad before the iPhone, sort of like the chicken and the egg debate. Strange how this device from Apple made the jump first. It seems like everyone focused the rumors towards an iPhone release and let the iPad slip right on through.

You'll be able to connect via wi-fi almost anywhere with the MiFi Mobile Hotspot. It also includes a month to month no obligation data plan, which will start at $20 for 1GB.

I saw this article too. It's insane! We will definitely see an iphone on Verizon in 2011! Not that I want an iphone or any apple product. I have my eye on the Playbook.

I love verizon but the pricing on this is outrageous! Bought my wife a 32gb wifi/3g model at best buy for just a little more than the 16gb on verizon. And being forced to use MiFi is asking to much IMO
