Yeah, I read that the other day. They are pulling all the stops to compete with BB.

Unfortunately, this has some specs that are worrisome...Basically it is an iPhone, 320x480 screen, with a physical keyboard added on below. And then of course the insides are souped up too. RIM needs to make a move asap, or checkmate.

So, after only reading the first post on that forum; everything everyone has to say (aside form a few :P) is something about BB. Seems to me like RIM is still a contender, any discussion is promotion regardless.

I also think that thing is straight up gross...

He's obviously not owned a BB. To me personally it looks very little like a BB keyboard aside from the fact that it's Qwerty (thus making the keys exactly the same, however the designo f the keys not so much.)

Checked out the torch the other day. Nice phone. A lot smaller than I expected. Super fast. Loved the rubberized texture all arround. Though if I wanted a qwerty I would have bought one. Don't really get the whole dual option thing. Love my touch and hope Santa's got a new, faster BB for me.

This reminds me of the corvette stingray. Based roughly on the design of the Lamborghini Miura, but larger and not quite as pretty and fast.
Sometimes being copied is flattering, other times, the copy is cheaper and more available and the original gets lost in the pages of time.
RIM, you out there listening? Hello?....Bueller?....Bueller?

    Competition is good.

I'd like to see a Blackberry with a slide out keypad similar to the Droid.
We all know how good the Blackberry is but I think it would appeal to the younger crowd.
