If you are a party that has been affected, you will be contacted with a letter from Asurion. If a customer does not receive a letter about the recall program directly from Asurion, the customer is not part of the possible recall group.

Battery Exchange Program:
To ensure the confidence and safety of customers, Asurion has launched a Battery Exchange Program, free of charge, for customers who may have received a potentially counterfeit BlackBerry-branded battery with their BlackBerry replacement device. This battery exchange program is limited to potentially counterfeit batteries. Genuine BlackBerry-branded batteries are not affected and are not covered by this program.

Is that the all black battery they gave me? That damn battery won't even keep its charge for half a day.

So, how do you tell the difference?

Asurion has already started contacting the customers who are effected.. Just keep checking your mail lol.. As far as how you can tell the difference.. I haven't got a clue...
