Who else is frustrated with waiting for the official skype app to be released on Verizon?!

Any new word on the exact date it'll be released?

I was looking into it this week. I mean it should be released in the next 10 days but....its Verizon. We have been waiting for a ton stuff for a while. Now, I did notice something curious: if you log into My Verizon right now, nothing is available. Could they be rolling out their new webpage or are they getting the OTAs available? Maybe its just MY connection.

Yeah, seriously. It'll probably be pushed on the last day of march at 11:59 p.m.

if you go to vzw.com/skype and sign up for the email list you will know the day it is released. I am just as frustrated about it as everyone else but what can ya do?

Was the unveiling conference at Ctia? I went on skypes website and it still isn't updated. Would you happen to know any info? Nothing on Verizons page up yet. :/

To late for me to use it. My friend is in Vietnam right now and she'll be leaving soon. So I won't really have much use for it, since I don''t have very many other contacts across the world.

but remember skype to skype is free so anyone you know that has a smart phon on vzw that has this app you can call them...

Ha, very true. But I never use any of my minutes. I have 1200 plus friends and family and all together I probably use under 200 min. I've been meaning to switch plans so I don't pay so much a month. I pay about $200 a month so I want to cut back on minutes, and texting, and not pay for insurance on my phone anymore. Maybe i'll be able to save a couple of bucks a month for a rainy day.
