AHAAAA! We think the muting issue is due to the PRL I am using. I was looking at a friends storm who has always been VZW to see what her PRL, it is 51689. My PRL is 40059 which is Alltel. Since hers was different I called VZW to see if this could be the culprit of my problems and they said, yes it could. *228 any option did not do anything, VZW tried to push the 51689 PRL for this area to my phone. The push didn't work, so they started a trouble ticket for the engineers to push the PRL to me. I am waiting for this to happen. I will report back my findings.
Not to blast anyone but I would be very very very suprised if that is the cause of your problems, if your prl was bad you would just be dropping calls not muting them... if you want to try to get a new prl back up your contacts and then do a security wipe from your phone then do *228 option 1 and see if you get the other PRL..
