    CDMA Channels - why different from phone to phone?

    My wife and I have identical Storm 9530's with Verizon. After checking to see we had the same PRL versions, I noticed we have different CDMA channels - she has 589, I have 507. Since day 1, her phone has had slightly better reception and signals than mine. Can I somehow change my CDMA channel to hers? Does the CDMA channel make a difference?

    No. The channels I believe are there to give you phone an individual channel to the tower network. They don't make a difference in singal. If anything they would allow one of you to possibly connect to a tower quicker.
