Thread: FCC's response to Verizon

Looks like the FCC is not buying VZW's ridiculous statements with respect to phantom charges and the increased EFT charges. As a matter of fact, the FCC commissioner took out a 2x4 in a scathing response that made all us little guys feel good. THe FCC plans to launch a full scale investigation after the New Year and talks of class action suits are brewing.

Well when I get done upgrading my pc I will have to take a look at this.

I hope so, I for one have been hit with the so called phantom charges. Furthermore, I do not understand their justification of their new EFT charge. It's one thing if they were to call it network upgrades but to say they need for advertising etc is just straight pathetic. Maybe VZW should have thought about it before spending $100 million to advertise for the Droid.
