Clear Channel launches custom iheartradio version for Verizon

This may be good news if you are a fan of the app iheartradio and a Verizon customer. Clear Channel is working closely with Verizon to create a customized version of iheartradio for Verizon's BlackBerry users. The custom version integrates V Cast Music so you can purchases of full-track downloads, ringtones and ringback tones. Also added to the custom version will be music videos and other on-demand content. Sounds kind of like V Cast Music taking steroids.

The integrations between iheartradio and V Cast Music are available in the newly released version 2.2 of iheartradio.

I openned my IHeart app today in order to listen (Talk/News). IHeart prompted me to upgrade, which I did. I now am listening to IHeart thru my cell head set. I can't find the option to switch to speakerspone. Any help would be appreciated.

    many thanks,

    Jerry H.

It should automatically switch to speaker once you remove the earphone jack.

I just got home from work, and fired IHeart back up to see what would happen. This time it defaulted over to my Storm 9530's speakers just like it should.

    thanks for the suggestion,

    Jerry H.
