    Why plan limited to 5 lines?

    How was this number established? Why not 4, or 7?

    As dumb as this sounds..from what I have been able to get on it anyhow.. which no one I think has a real reason(other than money) the average house hold in America consists of 2 adults 2 children and 1 home phone.
