I live in Ecuador, my prl is 51109. So what does this mean? Is this carrier dependent? My phone, purchased through ebay, is unlocked for both local carriers. Will my carrier upgrade this? Thanks for any answer.

51611 here in DC, before and after *228 - 1,2

So which is better to have? the Normal PRL or the Hybrid PRL? I have the hybrid one and a friend of mine has the normal prl and he seems to get better service with his phone than I do at times.

My Storm 2 works better with the normal PRL than the Hybrid.

It really depends on if they have updated the alltel towers in your area.. its primarily for those who used to be alltel/or live in an old alltel area

ERI Version: not supported

I am on Verizon's network and definitely have service. I am using a Tour with OS 5.0.0.230. Does my using a leaked OS affect this?

Should I leave well enough alone or do an update?

Most of the 5.0 builds reset the number after a battery pull or reset, now even though the number is gone your phone saves the PRL so its still there just not reading anything.

Still 51611 here in the DC area - tried *228 op 1, *228 op 2 and *22899 all to no effect.

Hmm this could have been a regional update. It may cone to us later. It may have been only for those in areas that alltel towers have been converted

they would push it so that you would see alltel and verizon as 3G instead of an alltel tower showing 1X its a good thing if you have one. Your VZW will stay the same it will just allow you to see more towers as VZW

you have a standard PRL, hybrids will be 65xxx you may have a hybrid OS though
