Thread: Verizon PRLs

Under the "Tips and Tricks" section, there is mention of Verizon's latest PRL. I have the latest PRL based upon this post; but, is there a way to get the 65xxx hybrid PRL? I've been complaining of poor reception since getting the S2 and am wondering if this hybrid will work better for me.

The 65XXX series PRL's are "hybrid" PRL's. They have to be pushed to your device from Verizon. Primarily those PRL's are used for former Alltel customers, or new customers with poor coverage.

I've been through this with VZW from day one. We have the hybrids pushed to our devices. BUT, *228 wipes them out and you have to wait 24-48 hours for it to "re-push".

I see there's a lot of PRL talk recently (smiles). I've downloaded and install the 65036 hyrbid (most recent hyrbid I could find) before traveling for the holidays and had 3G reception the entire trip... more than I was hoping for. Verizon, why not just push the hybrids or make the hybrids more easily accessible for customers who complain of poor coverage?
