Thread: Verizon Launches BlackBerry Curve 8530 in Black and Smoky Violet

Right on cue, today Verizon has launched the BlackBerry Curve 8530, and in your choice of either Black for Smoky Violet. The Smoky Violet is kind of an odd color if you ask me, but then again, I'm a guy... But for anyone looking to purchase a new BlackBerry for a very inexpensive price, Verizon is selling the Curve 8530 for $99 after a $100 discount.

So I had to go take a look and I would recommend this to any 8330 user looking to upgrade.
Had to stop and take a pic too. Ha Ha...

Hell I might even get this after the price drops.
Seemed very solid very stable but I only played with it for an hour or so.

my wife returned her s2 for the 8530.....didnt really like the touch screen and was havin minor issues with bbm not showing conversations and alerts..........both lovin it........very stable and very sexy lol

and they got a jelly case (kinda like the 80's sandles thingys) is GREAT

I went to Best Buy this afternoon and discovered they are selling the 8530 for $49. I bought one for my niece. She was eligible for an upgrade but not a NE2. So Best Buy appears to have best price to for new Verizon Curve.
