Thread: Unlocking phone via verizon

I have a friend that wants the bbs 2, if he purchases one can I call verizon and ask them to unlock it for me? He would be using it on the t-mobile network.

to get the unlock code from vzw the number has to be an active account for 6months. you can always try the gsm unlocking link in my sig.

My line has been active for over an year.
So I would have to activate the 9550 under my number and then unlock it and then go back to my phone?
