Thread: Storm 2 BOGO ending Nov 7th - FAIL

This speculation gets the good ol' FAIL stamp across it for the time being. When the Storm 2 launched images and rumors appeared about the BOGO ending November 7th. Well today is November 10th and the BOGO (buy one get one) deal is still active.

While the rumors spread of the BOGO ending the 7th of November, news dropped that Verizon would in fact be allowing their original Storm users to upgrade to the Storm 2 if extending their contract for another two years. While this was confirmed, there was no set date for this to go into effect. There were some speculations that this would start when the BOGO deal ended. Since the BOGO deal is still active, this keeps that dark gloomy cloud over the Storm 1 users. Very good chance they won't be able to upgrade until this BOGO has come to an end. The longer they wait the more angrier RIM customers get with Verizon.

I think we're going to need to summon up a little thunder & lightning with the dark gloomy cloud in order to get Verizon to budge....
