    Plazmic Composer - Ummm help???

    I am trying to use one of the samples from Plazmic Composer (JSlide) on my Tour. However, the sample is written for a 9000 series BB. When I load it as is on the Tour Simulator the slide screen is off center to the left (obviously).

    When I change the device settings in Composer for that sample to the 9600 series the animation stops working. I'm stuck with 16 icons on the home screen that I can select, scroll through, etc.; anything but make re-disappear!

    I'm trying to change the device settings to the 9600 and reposition the buttons so they are centered on the Tour. I've been able to reposition them so they look better (simple) but again, it breaks the animation.

    Does anyone have any idea how to make this change? Any insight? I've downloaded the Composer PDF Guide which was little to no help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA!!!

    I am unfamiliar with jslide, I have generally written my own svgs.

    I just looked and your problem is that you must animate the svg that you created. Just go to the original svg in the plazmic folder and copy the following code and modify it to fit your svg parameters. place it at the end of your svg before the svg tag.

    <set xlink:href="#ShowApps" attributeName="display" to="inline" begin="HideApps.focusin"/>
    <set xlink:href="#HideApps" attributeName="display" to="none" begin="HideApps.focusin"/>
    <set xlink:href="#HideApps" attributeName="display" to="inline" begin="ShowApps.focusin"/>
    <set xlink:href="#ShowApps" attributeName="display" to="none" begin="ShowApps.focusin"/>
    <animateTransform xlink:href="#Left" id="_anim_left_out" attributeName="transform" type="translate"
    to="-200,0" dur="0.5s"
    fill="freeze"
    begin="HideApps.focusin" />

    <animateTransform xlink:href="#Right" id="_anim_right_out" attributeName="transform" type="translate"
    to="200,0" dur="0.5s"
    fill="freeze"
    begin="HideApps.focusin" />

    <animateTransform xlink:href="#Left" id="_anim_left_in" attributeName="transform" type="translate"
    to="0, 0" dur="0.5s"
    fill="freeze"
    begin="ShowApps.focusin" />

    <animateTransform xlink:href="#Right" id="_anim_right_in" attributeName="transform" type="translate"
    to="0,0" dur="0.5s"
    fill="freeze"
    begin="ShowApps.focusin" />

    All I'm getting are a bunch of errors when I load the .svg file into Theme Builder:

    SVG failed to import correctly.
    Certain portions of the SVG may not be rendered correctly.
    The SVG file: C:\Users\Christopher\Documents\Test.svg may not be rendered correctly for the following reasons:
    Duration is not defined
    Duration is not defined
    Duration is not defined

    Should I be editing/saving this in Notepad as "ANSI", "Unicode", etc.? Is that the problem?

    When saving the svg after editing, select "save as" and "all files" double click the name of the svg and yes to overwrite

    I did the "All Files" but another option below that is defaulted to ANSI. I'm assuming that's correct. I tried, reloaded, and it still has the "Duration is not defined" stuff.

    What that means is that your anim are not linked to the buttons ie:

    If your fist layer is named layer_1 it should be written on the code as layer 1

    OK taking a look at that now. It loads fine, just doesn't animate in Theme Builder UNTIL I paste the code above and reload in Theme Builder. That's when it throws the errors. Layers aren't named there? Sorry, but this is confusing lol

    Sure it is, what's exactly what you want to do, make that svg to work on the Bold?

    If so, you need fist to re do the svg using the BOld properties on composer,

    OK got past the "duration" errors. It loaded in Theme Builder, saved, etc. When exporting to load into the Simulator:

    Warnings:
    The homescreen navigation model does not allow the following focus points to be reached:
    HideApps
    ShowApps

    Ummm huh???

    What I did was change the device properties in Composer to the 9600 (Tour). Then modified the location of the icons, exported the SVG and added the code from above. Now I'm getting:

    ShowApps

    I'm assuming that has something to do with the distance it travels or something when animated. ?

    Nope, ok, now on theme builder on the homescreen section scroll all the way down till you see navigation, select no memory and there is a option for auto create vertical/horizontal navigation select the last one that say do not create, the make your navigation manully

    Whew...ok...it's ALMOST WORKING !!!!!

    I got into the simulator but my navigation is WAY OFF LMAO. Time to read about linking, etc. The icons appear on the screen, then when I move right they slide out (almost out...I can see a hint of them on both sides ) ... as they are hidden I move around on them. Gotta get the nav right ...

    I'm not entirely sure where to put the hide and show apps links...
