Thread: Checking Interest Levels--Sample Theme

Okay, I have been building themes since the years of old. Many people have helped me along the way. One of the most useful things I ever did was pay a person 10 dollars for his svg file that contained many of the basic codes for what I use today.

Having said this, I would like to extend to this community a basic theme and its svg. This theme is the second published theme from myself..It is a kryptonite/superman theme with a bottom hidden dock that hides away to the bottom left. It also features a hidden today.

If you belief that this would be of help, then please post that and if there is enough interes then I will.

Lastly this is my personal work that I am sharing with you please respect this final request. Do not reproduce this theme for sale or any variation of it for sale. That is not the goal of this post.

Lesson One:
Making an SVG to run in your theme is nothing more than a simple math problem involving quadrants. Remember the old graphing paper you did in high school. Quad 1 (+,+) Quad II (-,+) Quad III (-,-) Quad IV (+,-). The center of all phones is 0,0 and work from there. Everything is plotted in this fashion.


Okay there are two types of scrolling svgs here. One scrolls Horizontally and the other Vertically. Pay attention to the x,y coordinates.

P3 ... I don't do any theme building, I leave it to pro's like you, Nate, Rellims and all the others that are part of the BBOS family. I remember reading some posts recently where there seemed to be quite a few people that wanted to jump into the theme building world. I think your offer would be a great benefit to all.

I don't know if I am a pro, Nate and Rellims themes are incredible I'm just doodling about right now.

I would be interested. I just built my 1st theme toying around. Made a "Dark Knight Joker" theme. Even changed the "new message" notification.....lol. Something like this would be REALLY cool to tinker with.

I am not adept enough to create a theme from scratch, I work best modifying existing.

wow that is wicked generous of you to share that! i would definitely love to have a copy of that! i am just starting to mess around with svg's, etc. you have already be very helpful to me!
