Plazmic 4.7

Plazmic released their second beta for v4.7. A lot of the known bugs were fixed with this release.

If the download link does not work or is to slow, let me know and I will upload the file to my host for faster downloads.

What simulators do I need? Where can I find them, and how do I install?

Ok, I downloaded the simulator, 4.7.0.75, for the Storm 9530 at the BB website. But, when I try and launch the simulator it doesn't load and I get a white screen that reads "reload software:507", any ideas what I need to do?

You also need to download and install the Blackberry JDE file (Java Developement Enviroment) Blackberry JDE you will have to login to download

Thanks bbcrackman,

I installed the JDE file but still no sucessful loading. I selected restart in the simulator to see if anything would happen and I got and error window that says...

"Error - BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator
---------------------------------------
The specified user application, C:\Users\Jerde\net\rim\fledge-2\2.11.0.86\Jvm.dll, does not exist.

do you have an OS installed on you computer? need to ask.

Give me a few minutes and I will post the java file you need...

Here is the link to update your java files, seems that your jvm may be corrupt.

I'm sorry, thanks for being patient, I'm new at this and my computer knowledge is intermediate. I think I have the Operating System installed. What should I look for to check and see, or a name.

No worries, I am talking about an OS for you device. Go to your Control Panel> add/remove programs> highlight the Blackberry Device Software> click on More Information> this will tell you what Blackberry Operating system you have for your device.

You need to update your jave file, I provided the link in my previous post

It says that I already had the Java installed so I chose to reinstall. Still no loading in the simulator. I did get this error...

I'm initialize it from the Plazmic theme builder under file/simulator or just selecting the simulator icon.

When I initialize it from the start menu the simulator comes up fine in it's original theme format. I guess it's figuring out how to get my beta theme in the simulator.

Thats the problem, I have not been able to get that simulator working yet. Try going to Start> Research in Motion> Blackberry Smart Phone Simulator> 4.7.0.75> 9530 verizon and run it that way
