    OTA Help!?

    Hi ,
A good friend of mine has passed away several months ago.
Today is her birthday and i decided to make themes in honor of her ,so all her friends and family (who own a blackberry) can use these.
But i can't figure out how to make OTA links for them (talking about TB 5.0)
    Can ANYONE help me?

    Thanks.

Hello keessultan, firstly, sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. Let's see if I can point you in the right direction.

To have your themes to be able to download via OTA you need to find a host that will take your jad. and cod. files that you exported in Theme Builder and upload to a server location that defines the point of download for the theme or app. It is a complicated process for a newbie and one needs access to a server, but the good thing is there are a few sites that offer a hosting service for theme developers. The one I would recommend is BB Theme Lab... OTA Hosting - Blackberry Theme Lab

I did some Google searching for OTA hosts and noticed a lot of them have stopped services, but I believe that BB Theme Lab is still providing OTA hosting for Theme developers. Give them a look.

Click the button in the bottom right of a post to say thanks!

I would also suggest checking out MyBbOTA.com too if you're still looking for a theme host.

When I first started I checked out BB Theme Lab (a wonderful source for theme devs in general), but I found their OTA hosting a little too complicated for my taste.

MyBbOTA was extremely easy to use, and have since updated their website making it even easier if at all possible. Not to mention the support is outstanding! I recommend them to everyone, theme buyers and developers alike ;-)
