Thread: hidden today is not working???

Hidden today is not working at all within my theme.

All of the icons within the theme are set to 'use device application order' within composer. The hidden today is checked under the extras panel in theme builder and navigation set accordingly. I have tried entering in calendar dates and it still does not show.

I created a basic theme with only one icon (calendar) within theme builder and enabled the hidden today. That worked, why wont it work when the icons are set in composer?

Is it a bug within composer or theme builder 6.0 beta 2 not allowing hidden today's from icons created outside theme builder?

This is boggling my mind!? Any advice or suggestions would be grateful at this point.

Hmm, make sure your slot order for device application order are set properly. Open up your svg. with Notepad++ or whatever editing program you use, search for "slot", and then make sure that for each icon that the numerical order starts with Slot0 and ends with the Slot number of your last icon. Also make sure that the action script for each icon corresponds with the Slot order as well. So you should see twice that Icon 1 in device application order is set for Slot0.

Sometimes from my experience in the past, composer will not recognize a icon out of the bunch because there is no slot order defining that icon placement in the svg code.

I had already checked that and everything is assigned just fine. According to some devs at crackberry.com this is a bug with composer and for the time being the only way to add a hidden today is by creating the icon with theme builder...

Have you then thought about creating the calendar icon yourself? Would that work since the icon will be essentially not part of the normal application order.
