    Smile Bouncing icon?

I had a previous composer file that I made for a theme - which I still have. When I choose a theme button and go to the the inspector as I hover over the preview, it bounces - which I like.

I started another theme and I began with the previos composer file and deleted all the icons. I created new theme buttons which work great, but they do not bounce. I feel I have looked everywhere, but I can't seem to locate this setting. I see 'quake', but not bounce. I have looked at both svg files, but I am not sure what I am looking for.

    Can someone please help?

    Thanks.

As far as I know, the icons can only be made to bounce in Theme Builder and not composer. In theme builder add a new icon then go to "properties" then animation and you'll see bounce there.

Correct. My icons that I am referring to are on a slider (I guess it would have been helpful to mention this!) When using Composer, if you choose Application order, then you do not place any icons on the homescreen using the Theme Builder. You only can animate icons in Theme Builder (as far as I can tell) if you place them using Theme Builder, but not Composer. Once created and placed using Composer, they just appear in order.

Does that make it a little clearer?

There is a way to make them bounce in composer. But you have to manually make the bounce animation. Or you could copy the animation from the theme that does have the bounce. Select the icon and then choose edit. It takes you to the icon animation page. There you can manipulate the focus settings. Once you get a good bounce you can save it to the presets and then when you go to edit icons 2,3,4..... you can just replace the default icon with the preset. Hope that makes sense. If not let me know and I will try to provide a pic walkthrough.

Open the svg and right click on the icon you want to copy and select edit. It will open the icon on its own canvas. In the Objects panel, drag the focus icon into the catalog. You might want to do the same for the Normal icon too. Now that both icon presets are in your catalog, open up the svg of the theme you want the bounce in. Do the same and right click the icon and select edit. Delete the focus and normal icons in the Objects panel. Now drag the focus icon preset into the Objects panel and then repeat with the normal preset icon. Then click Scene in the upper task bar and you will be taken back to the svg and that icon should now mirror the icon in the bouncing svg.
