I know this has come up before but a lot of the posts I have seen are months old. So I was wondering if someone could perhaps send me a link on how to add animation to a theme or even save me the trouble by putting one in for me x.x. thank you :)

Just add the animated gif as a background in composer. I did it once a while back for someone. Can't remember the exact process but it wasnt that hard. Did slow the phone down a lot though.
There was a seminar the other month that sort of showed how to do this with text if that's what you're interested in.
