Thread: Giving up on theme making!!!

Sorry to say guys... i know theres a few of ya out there that really like some of the unique themes i come up with... BUT.. until RIM officially fixes all their issues with color banding and depth... and all the other things that can affect themes... I find it hard to make my new ideas work for everyone.

So i have one last theme im working on for myself, and i will make it avail to those who want ... and that will be it...

For those continuing and those starting off ... making great themes.. keep it up... keep it unique and feel free to ask if you need some advise... or help or whatever...

They really need to address this issue i agree! I would be interested in your last theme! You have done such a good job!

My themes will be free until I get to a level of earth shattering skill.

For now back to getting good at the basics.

Well i by no means claim earth-shattering skill... YET.. lol but i hope maybe one day i will and ill still give my work away for free...

IMO.... you dont need anything more than the basics to make something unique and profound !

I appreciate all the themes that you create! I would be very disappointed if you hung it up for now. Even with the color banding on the current OS's I still feel that they are a work of art and take real talent. I know I speak for many when I tell you I wish you would reconsider. There is no reason to let talent such as yours lay dormant. Expound upon what you have done and what you will create! I look forward to many more themes you create.

I am sorry to see you putting down the mouse. Don't let the lack of official OS detour you from doing something you enjoy. Keep at it and remember one day an official OS will come

Appreciate the support guys... but ive got alot of good ideas... that jus wont work out with these color issues... Maybe ... jus maybe when they unF*** that... ill come out with something you aint seen yet !

But mostly its the second issue i got that has me puttin my time towards other things...
But ill still be around if you guys need help with anything!

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Your last theme blue goo was tight, I can only imagine what you'll come up with next. I hope you keep at it regardless of whether you take a break or not.

That is the one that I won't change out of...Blue Goo rocks, Awesome in memory...Take my advice and try it out!!

not having issues with the color depth? I made Blue goo like 6 weeks back but never released it cuz it had bleed through and ghosting issues. Glad to know its workin better for some and people really like it.

yeah, it is great...color seems good to me, one of the reasons i got it.
