The only thing i want from TELUS is for them to give me full access to my SIM card slot

I'm here as well. Running OS 132 on storm.

i'm on telus and proud of it. running .132(for now...). Just made my weekly call to telus for a new os. Join me guys lets make some noise.

They very first time I finally called they stated to me that no one else was having any issues...load of c*&p I'm sure but it got me started on the routine phone calls.

the funny part of it is the different answers you get...everything from we've had no complaints...why this version just came out..we haven't found one we like...RIM hasn't released anything to us

or it's I shouldn't tell you this but if you go to crackberry.com you can d/l the latest releases from the other carriers

Wonder what telus is testing and what they'll be releasing... Haven't heard any noise coming from them

Has anyone been able to get the MMS going??? A friend told me to unlock my storm and get a gsm sim card with a bb data to get the service books pushed and then switch back to telus to make mms work. I donwloaded a theme that gives me the mms icon bu I cant send mms. Why doesnt telus suport this? Why dont they have the mms service books?

I think Bmeridian found a work around for this. I will search the forums and see if I can find it.

That is correct he is the one who advice me to get the service books from rogers pushed. But my storm is locked so no go for me :lame:

I just moved from Bell after a 6 month long mess that they could not fix. Glad that's over :arms:
Couple questions first will the new OS 5.0 be applicable to the 8830 WE model ? Second has anyone had confimation on the release date of June for the Tour ?

firs off welcome to BBOS Netman, about your question unfortunately OS 5.0 is for BOLD and 8900 devices for now, about the tour rumors say June or July but nothing official yet

I have had a Curve for a couple years so when I switched to Telus I decided to give the 8830 WE a whirl till the Tour comes out. I have to say I think the Curve is a little more appealing than the WE but the Tour is ultimately what I'm waiting for !!!
As for the OS 5.0 it does not suprise me but I thought I would ask

If the Telus network would let us use non telus Bberry's and others like so many other network so it wouldnt matter who had what . and just unlock everything . Think that would open their client base immensely.:argue:
