iphone fans rejoyce!
a very credible poster over at howard forums has posted that telus has hammered out a deal with apple to launch the iphone. According to howard forums this will be happening in october. He goes on to say that telus will be switching over to HSPA in september and then launch the iphone the following month.

Thanks for sharing this smc. Nice find!
This a nice find, i wonder how many BB users on Telus will switch?
Great Find SM
I agree with Stiefler I wonder how many BB owners will jump ship
Unfortunately for RIM I bet it will be a lot of them. :headache:

In all honestly if telus has offered it back in december I wont have bought a storm. I have a pretty bad taste in my mouth in regards to the device and they way rim has rolled out and hung us 9530/9500 users out to dry.

I guess more inportantly are they will they be breaking the long standing no wifi issue when HSPA is up and running.
The way I hear it they are dropping the unlimited data plans and will not be grandfathering any plans. instead they will be offering a 6 gig plan and a 500mb package. If you have an exsisting conteract like I do your rates/plan wont change but if you want to re sign a new one. The u/l data will no longer be offered.
Again this is just what I've heard no hard info ..take it for what it's worth
