An official OS release for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 has been made available on the BlackBerry.com website for both Rogers Wireless and Telus Mobility.

I updated to this OS version before it was "official" and my experience is it slowed the Torch down significantly. I went back to 225 which I find to be a great version. I would be curious if others that go to 246 find that for them it is also slower.

It appears that jAsia has taken over jAllLang and jEastAsia with the introduction of OS 6 for Torch 9800 and the other BlackBerry devices.
