Thread: on the verge of a telus CDMA MMS FIX

I have full mms features on device at this time however still bound by a network issue, this will probably never be more then a single user fix...


issue is in rim relay and it is up to telus to write the authorization into the relay for service to work.

oh well...

seeing as I work for them I am speaking with a friend with authorizations to write it in for me... will report back.

I am working on making MMS on telus cdma and have hit a snag... it goes through wap and i cannot for the life of me find where to program the wap authorization for mms

anyone have an idea where to go next?



my path

service books- negative no send/recieve now have mms options

rim relay - provisioned for mms no send / receive

cdma service edit, change networking to wap settings no data/ no send / receive mms

EDIT: and my wap settings are all provisioned on network side, so seems its a device issue

i have been diggining in escreens and nothing that i can program for wap setting for mms?

vzw or bell or sprint guys any ideas?

I'm in the same boat as you, on the CDMA with Telus.

I've managed to get the service books for MMS onto my Berry, and I've managed to edit the serice books with the correct Gateway IP.

The picture actually sends and my Berry confirms that it is sent. However, it never makes it to where is was sent to.

I guess it just floats around the Telus CMDA blackhole.

I wish Telus would just get MMS to work, their Snap site is a joke.

yeah it is pretty bad, I've got mms working however the service book has to be reloaded every time the device restarts.

its difficult as telus uses 2 different BIS relays for CDMA and HSPA services.

could you please give us these service books?
maybe you could get more help if people can play around with them..
