Thread: Going to tiered plans who's next

Just read on technobuffalo that att will be the first carrier to mess up a great thing, i dont have att but they are getting rid of there unlimited data plans as of june 7 2010. the ones who already have it will be Grandfathered in,so i would advise everyone to go ahead and get it before then, just who's next verizon, sprint,t mobile. i surely hope not and hope this is not true for my att friends. :aargh4:

With the imminent roll out of LTE, the unlimited plans will become a thing of the past.
Verizon’s CEO Lowell McAdam has already stated that he doesn’t see unlimited data plans as making sense when their 4G network rolls out.
The Networks are going to make their investments back from upgrading their infrastructure.
Rest assure that we all will ultimately pay.
