LoL, I love Luke... I think Verizon's commercials are obnoxious!!!

I guess it comes down to what company you like.

I need your help. My husband has a Nokia 6085 and the volume of the ringing and caller sound can barely be heard. We have the volume all the way up and you can barely hear the person on the other end. My question is what phone would you recommend that has a good address book and better sound quality?

My husband doesn't use the phone for anything except calling me during his breaks and he will not use a 'smartphone' - he calls my phone a noberry - another story. I have always had good luck with Nokia phones, but really don't like this one. It also doesn't display that it is charging or fully charged like previous Nokias I have had.

A side note is he works out in the field and the phone is put in a pouch on his hip, so a flip phone would be preferable for durability. And I would like him to be able to send/receive txt msgs.

I appreciate your recommendations.

The Nokia 6085 was an ok phone... but it had its issues. If you are looking for something (non-smartphone) that has a good ringer and call volume, check into Samsung or Nokia. They always seems better for folks that need or want the extra volume.

I would look into these devices.
Nokia 6350
Nokia Mural
Samsung Solstice (Touchscreen non-smartphone)
Samsung rugby (very durable)

Haha i don't think they even give this to call center's because i haven't found it yet :-)
