It looks like AT&T and Verizon have made nice for the holidays. AT&T has dropped their lawsuit against Verizon for their "There's a map for that" ad campaign. Truthfully, I'm a little surprised it happened this quickly. But coming on the heels of AT&T's blow from the judge dismissing their request ordering Verizon to take down their commercials. Though maybe AT&T just decided it wasn't worth the cost of litigation.
Also dismissed was a law suit Verizon filed against AT&T. The lawsuit was asking for a judge to declare Verizon's "Most Reliable 3G Network" and similar tag lines are true. Which is all kind of funny Verizon is miffed at Sprint's use of "Most Dependable 3G Network" in their commercials. While this may not be the happy ending like in the Island of Misfit Toys, it still seems like a nice way to go for the holidays.
