    More AT&T and Verizon Drama

More drama. "You said this, you said that.." If the commercials from Verizon were not funny I would start to get annoyed with these two carriers. The latest was that a Judge told AT&T to quit crying but AT&T has another court date in December to appeal the decision. At the same time, AT&T has started their own campaign, with their own video(s). They really went big and got actor Luke Wilson to appear in the video (sarcasm). AT&T's commercial is called "Who Offers The Best 3G Experience". You can watch it below.

i dont care that at&t can browse the web and talk on the phone at the same time. that will only work if you on blue tooth and if i'm talking to a client or just some random somebody i'm not trying to surf the web...i'm talking. being able to dial out on a cell phone is still #1...sorry at&t.

What good is the fastest 3g when all your smug friends with iPhones are takin down the strength....

Storm2 wifi is on..let me call up my buddy and surf the web while he runs around trying to get to a close at&t tower so he can get reception...

Most popular smartphones? hmmm Droid,HTC,Blackberry etc verse iPhone... they are beating a dead horse on this one...

Wow awesome 100,000 apps which 50 percent make you a notch below the "special" hole in the person belt... (how many fart apps can you make?)

Hey some of the best things in life start with a "V" same stuff iPhone users most likely wont see in their life... ZING!

    (I know he dinttttt)

That was probably the most cheesiest commercial I've seen in a while. Looks like AT&T is going to leave the playground a take their ball with them.

The funny thing is, how many times while your on the phone you want to browse the web?
Seriously; ATT needs to quit crying like a little baby. They need to spend more time to come up with a better answer than trying to get actors in their adds.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK VZ. The last add with the guy with an iphone coming home to a VZ phone in a gift box was a good one.

Well I am glad said no to AT&T that Verizon does not have to pull the ads. That's what they get trying to strong arm me into switching from Cellular One. So iI said.. stuff it.. and went to T-Mobile. I liked AT&T but the business practices were bad in my eyes.

Apparently not just Att's 3g is wack but their "Marketing" gurus are Corny as well. That add must have been thought of in less than a Milli sec. If those marketing people spend time on this.....OMG...I cannot imagine what their lawyers have planned for their next court date. Considering the adds are seeing by millions and the court appearance will be seeing by a selected few...Like Snoop said "drop it like its hot" att might as well cuz Big Red is too hot for att...

How pathetic, let it go AT&T. Basically AT&T is saying, our customers are too dumb to read that it was only a 3G map and not a coverage map. What's that say AT&T?

ATT has never really done hater adds...thats really our first...so give us some time we will get better with practice.
As for the people saying they never talk and browse the web i agree its a bad pitch..its somthing i do so rarly its not a big upsell...however if you put it in slightly differnt context for example, your on youtube and watching a vid or using an application that Actively uses data if your on EDGE or any of Verizon's data networks the person calling you will ring you, eventually getting your vmail...while with a true 3G network such as what ATT has the call will still be received. For me this is a big deal as if im expecting an important call and im goofing around on youtube and my call goes to vmail that might effect my biz revenue or might give the client the wrong idea.
Anyway thats just my 2 cents..and if you dont believe me try it out for yourselves.

Actually, if you are messing around on youtube and your on vzw it interrupts youtube so you can answer the call. It never goes to voicemail unless you hit ignore. I am not real sure where you may have missed that, considering that everyone is always talking about how the phone calls stop the music and all things like that, and if you take into effect that probably 80%+ of AT&T users have the Iphone, you cant be on the phone and web at the same time because of mulit tasking no?

huh odd i have had this complaint from several people on VZW and tested it a few days ago on a navigator and dare..humm weird
anyway im not here to hate on either.i think both are good networks. In the areas i live mind you not NY or whatnot i find ATT to have a faster downstream in general while VZ upstream...all in all i prefer ATT to that however they are both reliable for me maybe VZW has a slightly more reliabel voice network especially when bringing into account middle America and non urbanized parts of America. I guess we shall see which is superior when VZ catches up to ATT in data devices then we will be able to really pick a solid winner.

ATT and VZW have a similar quantity of customers howeer ATT has 2times the quantity of customers whom own and data centric device such as a blackberry, winmo or iPhone. All i meant was that once VZW has a similar amount of customers on a data device i would be interested to see how reliable their network will be with a mass increase in load on their network

Wow, I can't believe that is the best AT&T can do with a commercial. That was absolutely horrible. They need to fire their marketing people.
