Thread: T-Mobile Black Project, what it is?

We been hearing about T-Mobile Dark Project (or Black), and since the first time many people is specualating what is this about? While some say is not a phone release or something similar i can tell you that is all about Launch dates, yes Launch dates, so what are they launching you ask.

To start with it is tied somewhat to new Devices, Project Dark contains the launch of the T-Mobile BlackBerry 9700 as well as T-Mobile’s upcoming Android handsets like the Motorola CLIQ and Samsung Behold II. It also includes the so awaited expansion of T-Mobile’s 3G network, but not the UMTS network in fact is the 21Mbps HSPA, as you have seen the launch of it in Philadelphia.

Why Black or Dark Project? The reason is simple the company has plans to launch the Devices and probably a big percentage of their new network on a date close if not the exact day of the well known “Black Friday”.

So being a T-Mobile customer for a good bunch of years now, I am feeling so excited, and for the records and just for the records I will be getting the new 9700 and one of the Android phones.

Get me a 9700 too please.
