Thread: T-Mobile ... My Favorite!

Hey there fellow BBOS TMo'ers. I've recently moved from another board and joined up here at BBOS. I am a huge T-Mobile fan and love their service. I have used both Verizon and AT&T in the past and have long found that T-Mobile just does a better job for me.

There are many things that T-Mobile does really well but their UMA service simply rocks. No other USA carrier offers this fantastic service. With UMA, you have a cell tower next to you wherever you have an Internet connection. Amazing.

I hope we see a lot of great T-Mobile users here on the BBOS forum page. I do not work for T-Mobile and don't have any "inside info" but I follow them closely so post if you have any questions and let's see if we can help each other out.

TMo is simply the best!

I agree with your assessment. Unfortunately in my office I get a SOS signal. Everywhere else I am at 5 bars 3G service. Having signal in my office is imperative, so I'm stuck with at&t for the time being.

I used to work for a company where the cell reception throughout the campus in all the buildings was really bad. My manager's office was the zone of darkness where no cell signal was ever found.

T-Mobile came along and offered UMA service and immediately that all changed. I set up UMA profiles on my phone in all our buildings. It wasn't easy because the IT staff was so protective about giving out access codes to non company devices but I talked one of the IT guys into giving me all the codes and that just made everything fantastic.

The manager's office was actually next to our data room where all the routers for the main floor of the building were and all of a sudden I got super service in there. It was always so funny when the manager had to step outside to use his cell when I'd get clear signals where no one else could.

You might want to check into UMA. It can really make a big difference.

Unfortunately there is no wireless service on my floor where I am in range. it sucks, but nothing I can do.
