Thread: T-mobile to boost network speed

T-Mobile take their entire US 3G network up to a new speed: 7.2 Mbps. T-Mobile, with a much smaller network than e.g. AT&T, nevertheless, is covering some 200 million Americans so far. T-Mobile also said that it plans to be the first U.S. carrier to deploy HSPA+ across its whole network by mid 2010 (which then would allow their users a DL speed of up to 21 Mbps). Aren't these figures increadible? 21 Mbps? OK, 7.2 Mpbs is only an interim solution, but it's not that bad, isn't it? What's your opinion?

Actually maybe they should make EDGE work first. T-Mobile coverage is spotty in way too many areas.

hope this really happens. and not just a rumor.. i wonder what kinda sick devices will run with hspa+ maybe android!!. i am a t-mobile customer for 11 years and its nice knowing the money, there profit is going in to good minds with great ideas

bout time, I had to admit, their 3G is lacking in speed, but I have noticed its now in more areas and getting faster
