I mean no harm when i say this.
There was a reason I put this in the Carrier>Sprint/Nextel Forum.
I have Sprint.
Well, since Sprint is your carrier...
Your wife pwns j00 and has better equipment, you either get a Tour or you wait for the next revision of the Tour which will have WiFi being the BlackBerry Essex or Storm..both of which have not gotten any full on confirmation of arrival on Sprint.
And yes, considering first gen 83xx devices were launched in 07' on GSM carriers you are running old school, but that depends on how ya wanna look at it since CDMA didn't get the 83xx till last year. But alas, that's CDMA..way behind GSM.
I follow the rule, if it isn't running 4.6 OS +...time to get an upgrade.
I'm almost thinking i'll stick with my old azz curve til the tour wifi comes out.
Honestly i dont believe the curve to be so far behind. Its still 5.0 capable and unless you are trying to become a photographer the 2 mp camera is fine and although the screen resolution is lower than the tour it is still the same size. The best part about the curve is it is tried and true. They are very durable and capable. I sell curves all the time to a lot of my business customers who have 200+ line accounts because I know that they will withstand. The curve was the #1 selling phone in the U.S. in 2nd quarter 2009. Despite iPhone’s Success, BlackBerry Curve Was on Top in Q2 Not bad RIM
